Provision is ALWAYS in the WORD – Part 3

imagesAs I continue on the path to fully understand provision, it is gettings clearer by the day and my confidence keeps growing because I am guaranteed that “ALL my needs are met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” And like our base text says, “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” Read 2 Peter 1:3 (KJV).

The word knowledge in this context according to the Greek meaning refers to experientially know, functional working knowledge. So it is about having a definite working knowledge of God and His love for you. Listen to this, God never created us to be self-sufficient without Him, hence the Bible says, “Not that we are sufficiently qualified in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency and qualifications come from God.” Read 2 Corinthians 3:5 (AMP).

So here is a question, do you know Him as someone who is extravagant in His provision for you? To so many people, God means a lot of things to them depending on their circumstance. Well, do not allow circumstances of life dictate or shape your perspective about God’s lavish attitude towards you. Please listen to my heart, God will not ever fail you, He is covenanted to you, that is His promise, and He has said, “I am with you, always…”

God’s provision is super-abundant and infinite, and He has chosen to bless you richly. You know what, I can’t help but to lift up my hands and give God praise as I now begin to see more and more how blessed I am to have a Father who will lavish so much goodness and provision upon me and my house. Remember Jesus saying, “Abide in Me, and I in you…” Therefore, in abiding lies your provision, Selah.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
