What do indices tell you? Part 6

The traditional marriage order is between a man and a woman. It is not meant to be men with men or women with women. Guess what, we have to talk about these things, we can’t afford to be politically correct, we have to be bold and lovingly talk about these hard topics; this is not my opinion, it is God’s. “…all the foundations of society are shaken to the core...” Read Psalm 82:5 (TLB). Sexual perversion is an index, the foundations of society are out of course. Folks, we must begin to believe that what the Word of God says is for real. God’s Word is not a suggestion, it is a statement of total truth.

• Sexual perversion – women with women, men with men.
  • Sexual orientation discussion has become a hot topic in our society today, and everyone is giving their opinion and trying to legitimize a practice which clearly goes against God’s plan for mankind. Can I say this, our opinion does not really matter compared to what God’s Word has said. You might not like it, but what I am saying is the truth, because God has purposed it to be so, and you only have to study the story about Sodom and Gomorrah. Read Genesis 19 (NIV). Look at the implication and the results of sexual perversion, and God’s reaction. Aren’t we aware God created Adam (Man) and Eve (Woman)?
  • Beloved, let us not adapt to the prevalent deception of sexual perversion in our society today. Television programmes have now become a tool to propagate sexual perversion, and we need to either stand up and create our own programmes or switch off the television. What you feed your eyes on will eventually take a hold of you. Listen to what these scriptures have to say, again we are just reading the text. Here we go, “Homosexuality is absolutely forbidden, for it is an enormous sin.” Leviticus 18:22 (TLB). Here is another text, “The penalty for homosexual acts is death to both parties. They have brought it upon themselves.” Leviticus 20:13 (TLB). Let me be absolutely clear, “For God so loved the world…” So we don’t hate, instead, we love! The Bible says, “God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.” Read Romans 2:4 (NIV).

As Christians who profess Christ, we dont have the luxury to not speak out against such perversions in a loving manner, and sometimes it might get confrontational depending on who you are talking to, but act in grace at all times. These practices are hostile and wicked to God. When we are quiet, then we are complicit because we know the truth and have God’s Word, yet keep quiet so as not to look weird and wanting to feel accepted by society.

God’s Word has made His standards clear, and as Christians, we can’t afford to be timid to share the truth of scriptures or live to these standards openly. We have to be bold and be ready to speak up; and as we do so, let us not look to protect our integrity because our integrity is only authentic in the Lord, Selah.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for revealing the truth to my human spirit. Thank You, Your Spirit keeps me alert to the truth, therefore, I refuse to be deceived. The wisdom of God is operating in my life, and I thank You Lord for lavishing Your extravagant grace upon every reader and hearer in Jesus Name.
