There is nothing too hard for the Lord. And since that is the case, it is then my understanding; the Word of God applied in any or every situation will yield a harvest. The authority and power of God are embedded in His Word, hence the Bible says, “God’s Son shines out with God’s glory, and all that God’s Son is and does mark Him as God. He regulates the universe by the mighty power of His command. He is the one who died to cleanse us and clear our record of all sin and then sat down in highest honor beside the great God of heaven.” Read Hebrews 1:3 (TLB).
Listen to this version “The Son is the radiance and only expression of the glory of [our awesome] God [reflecting God’s Shekinah glory, the Light-being, the brilliant light of the divine], and the exact representation and perfect imprint of His [Father’s] essence, and upholding and maintaining and propelling all things [the entire physical and spiritual universe] by His powerful word [carrying the universe along to its predetermined goal].” Read Hebrews 1:3 (AMP). Can you see this? Recall the Bible saying, “Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word. Read Psalm 103:20 (KJV). Hey, give voice to His Word, and watch the angels go to work on the back of your faith-filled spoken words.
God’s command is His Word, and what I love about this text is, His Word regulates (controls, determine, sets the standard, governs and gives framework) the entire universe, this is an awesome text revealing the immense power in God’s Word. God’s Word is dynamite, it will re-arrange anything on its path, hence the Bible says, “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” Read Acts 1:8 (AMP). And we know the Holy Spirit has since come, and He lives in us, therefore, we acknowledge the Holy Spirit working in and through our lives as directed by our Father in Heaven. According to the text, you have to take possession of God’s dynamic power. This power is needed in every sphere of life and it is what will cause you to “run through a troop and leap over a wall.” Read Psalm 18:29. Glory!!!
The Holy Spirit is God’s power in the earth. “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said…” Read Genesis 1:2-3 (NIV). Can you see this? The Spirit of God executing God’s command. And in like manner, the Holy Spirit has been commissioned to execute God’s Word from your mouth. As we know, God’s Word is powerful and will always and continue to prevail because that is how God ordained it to be. Hallelujah!!!
