“Fight to see justice established, fight to see lives transformed, fight with a determined spirit.” Dr Hugh Osgood. I strongly believe it will take the people of God to be drenched or possibly submerged in the GLORY of God to establish His rule and reign in this life. Equally, for lives to be transformed, our lives as believers in Christ ought to exude such a presence the people will not be able to deny it; and this is where transformation begins.
Look at what the Bible says, “Many signs and wonders were now happening among the people through the apostles’ ministry. In consequence, people would bring out their sick into the streets and lay them down on stretchers or bed so that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall upon some of them. In addition, a large crowd collected from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing with them their sick and those who were suffering from evil spirits. And they were all cured.” Read Acts 5:15 (PHILLIPS). Can you see this? Peter’s shadow!!! Now, like we know, there is nothing special about Peter’s shadow; God’s GLORY enveloped Peter, and the GLORY was dispensed through Peter’s shadow, and it brought transformation to many lives – IN CONSEQUENCE.
You might be asking, how did this happen? Recall the water measured ankle, knees, waist deep, till the water became a RIVER and to cross it meant you have to swim? Watch this, “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth, I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation, he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.” Read Acts 10:34 (KJV). In other words, the same experience Peter had, you and I can have the same and even more if we are hungry enough to pursue it.
Watch this, raw demonstration of power and might can’t be ignored, eventually, people will have to take notice of what is going on. God’s GLORY can no longer be ignored when believers in Christ take their rightful place using the authority which has been willed to every child of God. When the GLORY manifests, it’s so GLORIOUS; “So that the priests could not remain standing to minister because of the cloud; for the glory and brilliance of the Lord filled the house of God.” Read 2 Chronicles 5:14 (AMP).
Brothers and sisters, this ought to be our experience. The GLORY is indescribable…
