Walk in the Spirit = walk in the Word – Part 4

Walk in the Spirit = walk in the WordThe more we listen to a familiar voice in the Holy Spirit, the better equipped we will be to act and do what He says. Watch and this is not a mystery, you won’t be able to hear the voice of the one you don’t interact with. For me to hear the voice of my wife, I would have been acquainted and familiar with the resonance of her voice.

We ought to take note of these words in which the Holy Spirit says: ‘Today if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts in the rebellion…” Read Hebrews 3:7 (PHILLIPS). In other words, the Holy Spirit is always speaking and primarily through God’s written word, and encouraging us to hear His voice.

To #walk in the Spirit is an ability to hear God’s Word. Watch this, the angels had the ability to hear God, and do what they heard. The Bible says it like this, “Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.” Read Psalms 103:20 (KJV).

Ephesians 4:23 (NKJV) says, “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Therefore, to #walk in the Spirit will require a daily renewing of the mind. And you renew your mind by – studying the word, meditating the word, being full of the word and living the word daily.

#Walk in the Spirit.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
