Perfect and constant Peace – Part 4

iuThe effects of peace are clearly documented in scripture; quietness, safety, confident trust in God. Peace is a commodity which must be guarded and protected at all cost. Have you noticed, it is easy to lose one’s Peace? For example, preparing for Church, and you step out from your front door and realize you have a flat tyre, guess what happens? Loss of Peace, agitation sets in, moaning and complaining.

When we look at society today, it seems like Peace is elusive. I think of the word phantom – Ghost [it appears then it disappears]. God’s Peace is constant and passes human knowledge. “And God’s peace shall be yours, that [tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Read Philippians 4:7 (PHILLIPS).

Great peace have those who love Your law and nothing causes them to stumble.”Read Psalm 119:165 (AMPC). When you love the word of God and His agenda, great peace will pervade your spirit soul and body.

For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us.” Read Ephesians 2:14. Without God in your life, hear me, there is no Peace, Selah. Don’t look for Peace anywhere else, but the Word of God.

This is my prayer for you, “Now may the Lord of Peace Himself give you Peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.” Read 2 Thessalonians 3:16.
