Perfect and constant Peace -Part 5

“Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor my covenant of Peace be removed”, says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Read Isaiah 54:10 (NIV). Peace is a covenant fruit, and no matter what happens, the God who initiated the covenant of Peace will never in any way “leave you nor forsake you.”

Scripture tells us, there will be “gross darkness covering the earth and thick darkness is over the people, but the Lord will arise upon you.” Read Isaiah 60:2. With God’s Peace, His light will arise upon you right in the midst of all the chaos. When you look around, there seems to be a lot of discontented people complaining about one thing or the other. Nations are at war, economies are failing, unreported earthquakes happening at an alarming rate, tsunamis, immigration challenges which has now become a phenomenon sweeping across countries; but for you as a covenant child of God, there is Peace and light in Goshen.

When the news projects the issues I mentioned, it will certainly look to you that no one is in control, but I have good news for you, the Lord your God has said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Read Matthew 28:18 (NLT). Jesus, in turn, willed the authority to you and me. Recall the Bible says, “For as He is, so are we in the world.” Read 1 John 4:17 (ISV). Watch this, we are never at any point disadvantaged, a million times no. Whatever Jesus had, we also have it, we are in the same class as Christ because we were created in His image and after His likeness.

God is in covenant with you, He covenanted His Love, Peace, and Compassion. Therefore, there is nothing you should be afraid of, for the “Lord our God is with us to deliver us.” Watch this, you were delivered 2000 years ago. Oh, glory, hallelujah.
