Perfect and constant Peace – Part 6

I thought I had completed this discussion until I sensed there was still a lot more to be discussed. As I alluded to previously, Peace can be elusive and people all over the world are looking for ways to manufacture Peace. Guess what, Peace can’t be manufactured. Let me be absolutely clear, there is never going to be Peace without the Peace giver – God. Peace originated from God, therefore, why are we searching for Peace outside from the giver of peace?

I recently came across a BBC research article from their archives on “History of failed treaties” conducted in 2007. Peace treaties are a noble thing, but the foundation must first be right. Why design or enter into a treaty with a faulty foundation? Watch this, how does one enter into a Peace treaty when a Peace treaty has not been established first with God? People are striving to achieve Peace but in the wrong order.

Peace treaties must first start with God, the creator of heaven and earth, and subsequently, He will orchestrate the order of events to align with His plan and purpose for Peace in the earth – Christ, dying on the cross, buried and resurrected was the first order for a Peace treaty between God and mankind; without this order and acknowledgement ladies and gentlemen, Peace will not reign.

Jesus said, “without Me, you can do nothing.” Read John 15:5. Now, it is either we think God can’t be serious or that we know so much and have control over our lives. The text is quite instructive, without God, there is nothing we will ever achieve that will be noteworthy. Well, you might say, look at what I have been able to achieve, really? Jesus said, “without Him, you can do nothing.” This statement is really loaded and will advise you to study the text in detail.

“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Read Romans 14:11 (ESV). This is a pronunciation from the one with whom the mountains, rocks and seas quake at His voice, creation bows at the mention of His Name, “The Lord is His Name.”
