Listen to this beautiful quote, “No man can become much like God, accomplish much for God, be intimate with God, be used much of God unless he has learned to be much alone with God… and what a classroom you’ll find yourself in.” Reimar Schultze. Can you see this? Much alone with God is achieved through WAITING for the Lord.
Watch this, the whole essence of WAITING is to develop and deepen our relationship and fellowship with God, Selah. The Westminster Catechism says this, “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.” And the scriptures further confirms this by saying, “All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.” Psalm 86:9.
The Jericho walls did not come down in one day, did it? No, it did not. They WAITED and heeded God’s counsel, and when the time was right for the wall to come down, that wall came crashing down. Here is my word of encouragement to you, WAIT for the Lord, WAIT for His specific counsel to you before acting.
This has been a tremendous blessing to me personally because I realize I am in WAITING, hence, I speak from a place of knowing a few things. And it is my prayer for you that in whatever it is you are WAITING for, trust God; He has said, “I will never ever fail you, I will never leave you.
Watch this, one of the greatest gifts God wants to give you if you are willing to accept it is, the gift of SALVATION – acknowledge Jesus as Lord and saviour of your life. Repent and turn towards God’s purpose and plan for your life.
#WAIT FOR THE LORD.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Thank you, Lord for the grace to WAIT for You.
