The Word of God is not seasonal – Part 2

270px-Four_seasonsMonumental changes come from the constancy of God’s Word and the consistency of His promises. As the people of God, seasons can be a representation of development, pruning, purification and fruitfulness; and the one constant in these times or seasons is God’s Word. Watch this, whatever season you might find yourself in, endeavour to have your Bible with you and open.

I am aware seasons in one’s life can be challenging, and immediately I am reminded of 2  Biblical text, “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” Read Isaiah 26:3 (AMP).

Listen to this, “We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.” Read Hebrews 16:9 (MSG).

Beloved, this is an amazingly gracious text, “And He will be the security and stability of your times, a treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is your treasure.” Read Isaiah 33:6 (AMP).

Here is my point, God is our anchor in the midst of the changing seasons.
