Watch this beloved, you and I are watchmen for our world! Oh, you don’t believe it? See what the Bible says, “Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from Me, warn people immediately. If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me.” Read Ezekiel 3:17-19 (NLT). We have been called to warn the people about rejecting Christ by preaching the gospel of His grace.
Can you see this? There are millions of souls to be reached and it is incumbent on you and me to warn the world [your sphere] – preaching the gospel of grace and love, turning peoples heart from the world of darkness to the light of God’s Kingdom. Hallelujah. Watch this, LAND = PEOPLE!
I digress, to be a watchman, you must love and be compassionate towards God’s people [the world]. Remember, “For God so loved the world…” Think with me for a moment, how can you watch out for peoples soul and eternity if you do not love them? The book of Hebrews says, “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God…” Read Hebrews 1:3. In like manner, we are to embrace, express and exhibit the very character and nature of God – LOVE.
Father, God thank You for the boldness to preach the gospel of Christ unapologetically, with simplicity and clarity in the Name of Jesus. Thank You for creating channels where the gospel will be received with open hearts and minds in Jesus Name.
