Much land remains to be conquered – Part 5

Watch this, we owe each other and the world the duty, to tell the truth about God and what the Bible says. Not telling ourselves and the world the truth will mean that we will be walking in deception. The truth is Heaven and hell is real, the truth is everyone needs a Saviour, hence the Bible says Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the[real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Read John 14:6 (AMP). Jesus showed us the way; you and I have been commissioned and we do not have a choice but to GO; LAND = PEOPLE.

Watch this, the land which you and I have been given has people living in them, and I believe God wants them to hear the gospel of Christ so that their lives can be transformed, likes ours have, hence the Bible says, “We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to Him.” Read 2 Corinthians 5:20 (TPT). Can you see this now? You and I work for God, and there are clearly defined role which is the same for every believer in Christ – “Preach the word of God” in your context.

Beloved, no one is ever too old to preach the gospel of Christ, and as a matter of truth and as the people of God, we will never ever be able to retire from preaching God’s word! At some point in our secular career, we will retire, but when it comes to the gospel of Christ and His redemptive grace, we will always preach it wherever we go.

You might be thinking, is it not a bit late for me to go and be conquering lands? Absolutely not, because God already “went ahead of you to make the crooked paths straight.” The land has already been conquered on your behalf, and what you and I need to do is go and mop up the spoils. Recall the Bible says, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in.” Read Matthew 9:37 (TPT). Listen to this, you and I are the harvesters of souls for the Kingdom of God. Every harvester is required to be in the field gathering people looking for meaning in their lives.

With all the career accolades and business achievements in one’s life, I truly believe the most celebrated career or profession in history will be those who function in the five-fold ministry. Someone asks why is this so Ricky? The Bible gives us this response, “For we are fellow workmen (joint promoters, labourers together) with and for God; you are God’s garden and vineyard and field under cultivation, [you are] God’s building.” Read 1 Corinthians 3:9 (AMPC). Can you see this? You and I are partners together with God in spreading the gospel of Christ!

My Father in Heaven, thank You for making me a joint partner together with You, and for this, I am grateful that You counted me worthy.
