“…There is a great need of more familiarity with the Scriptures and their teaching in order that we may be crushed to our knees with a sense of humility and be made to cry to God that He would visit us again.”Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Life must be understood and lived through the eyes of the Bible, hence the Bible says, “The Scriptures say: Bread alone will not satisfy, but true life is found in every word which constantly goes forth from God’s mouth.” Read Matthew 4:4 (TPT). Beloved, it is important that we study the Bible for ourselves, and as I have to say this over and again, no one person, minister, bishop, etc, has any exclusivity of the scriptures. We are all God’s anointed!
“You must understand this at the outset: Interpretation of scriptural prophecy requires the Holy Spirit, for it does not originate from someone’s own imagination. No true prophecy comes from human initiative but is inspired by the moving of the Holy Spirit upon those who spoke the message that came from God” Read 2 Peter 1:20-21 (TPT). As the people of God, we are not beholden to anyone but God. Everything we need to know is in His Bible; if we will “just read our Bibles.”
Now as the people of God, you have the Spirit of God in its fullness, and not in a measure, Selah! The Bible says, “And now out of His fullness we are fulfilled! And from Him, we receive grace heaped upon more grace!” Read John 1:16 (TPT). Can you see this? It’s a constant infilling of God’s presence. We can’t set the Bible aside folks, it does not matter how hard secularism and liberalism tries to twist what the Bible is not, God’s Word is the inherent Word of God.
“Seeing the Bible through the eyes of an ancient reader requires shedding the filters of our traditions and presumptions. They processed life in supernatural terms. Today’s Christian processes it by a mixture of creedal statements and modern rationalism.” The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible. Watch this, when we study and read our Bibles, there is no room for personal interpretation, hence the Bible says, one of the Holy Spirit’s role is to reveal the person of Christ to you and me through His Word – the Bible.
My Father, I am eternally grateful for Your Word to us this day. Thank You; “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Read Hebrews 4:12 (AMP).
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Keep doing what you do guys; this is a tremendous blessing.
God Bless
