Just read your Bible: Benefits – Part 6

Just read your BibleGod is not silent. It is the nature of God to speak. The second person of the Holy Trinity is called “The Word.” The Bible is the inevitable outcome of God’s continuous speech. It is the infallible declaration of His mind.” A. W. Tozer. God speaks to you and me first and primarily through His Word – Bible. As the people of God, our utmost commitment must be to the Bible. The Bible and no other book has transformative powers to change lives. Listen to this, if you don’t have the Bible in your life, then life becomes a truly lonely journey and experience. 

“No one ever graduates from Bible study until he meets its authors.” Everett Harris. Studying our Bible comes with significant outcomes for you and me. And over the coming weeks, we will be looking at some of the benefits attached to studying our Bibles. My theme text will be based on Psalm 19. 

As we mature in life, we always want to be sure that our foundation is right, and if that is true for you, then listen to what the Bible says, “And so we have been given the prophetic word—the written message of the prophets, made more reliable and fully validated by the confirming voice of God on the Mount of Transfiguration. And you will continue to do well if you stay focused on it. For this prophetic message is like a piercing light[shining in a gloomy place until the dawning of a new day, “When the Morning Star rises in your hearts. Read 2 Peter 1:19 (TPT). Consequently, one of the benefits of Biblical study is SOUL REVIVAL – Psalm 91:7 (TPT). No other word or book ever written in his history will satisfy or revive your soul like the Word of God – Bible.

My Father in Heaven, thank You for Your Word revives my soul. Your Word keeps me stable and alive in my spirit in the Name of Jesus.
