20/20 Resolution – Part 10

2020 ResolutionAdvancing in the things of God and the Spirit will require a hunger for truth – “Your Word is truth! So make them holy by the truth.” Read John 17:17 (TPT). This 20/20 and beyond, let us hunger and thirst after righteousness. The Bible says, “How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be surrounded with fruitfulness.” Read Matthew 5:6 (TPT). Beloved fruitfulness and righteousness are products and outcomes of a heart whose sole mission is to hunger and diligently seek the gospel of Christ. Watch this beloved, my quest for truth leads me to research Biblical literature to help in my constant desire to spiritually develop and mature.
To maintain momentum and stay focused without losing sight of God’s plan, it is expected that we remain faithful to God. See what the Bible says, “In this case, moreover, it is required [as essential and demanded] of stewards that one be found faithful and trustworthy.” Read 1 Corinthians 4:2 (AMP). Therefore, faithfulness, steadfastness and trustworthiness are key characteristics to maintaining momentum in God this year and beyond. Recall, when solutions want to be developed for clients, the business analysts work with the organization to gather requirements which will be used to design the fit for purpose application. In like manner, for you and me to thrive in the realm of the Kingdom of God, His Word is the requirement needed to excel and live a life designed by purpose! Oh, glory, hallelujah.

To maintain momentum this year 20/20 and beyond in the things of God, the Bible helps you and me understand; “In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize HimAnd He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].” Read Proverbs 3:6 (AMP). Beloved, if we want our plans and desires to kick off well and successfully land at its destination, then we cannot afford to ignore this basic principle of acknowledging and recognizing Him. The Bible makes it clear saying, “He – Jesus Christ is our wisdom…” Read 1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV).

Furthermore, to maintain momentum and thrive is for you and me to persevere. See what the Bible says, “If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God!” Read James 1:12 (TPT). Watch this, true believers are marked by trials, and they endure without failing because “The Lord is able to keep them from falling and present them blameless before His glory.” Read Jude 1:24. I will also encourage you to read James 1:2-4 (TPT).

My Father in heaven, I thank You 20/20 will be a God-filled year. Lord, Jesus, You have the authority to alter my plan so that they align with Your plan and purpose for me, my loved ones and family in Christ name.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
