A builder or developer will build according to the pattern given by the owner. See what the Bible says, “You shall construct it in accordance with everything that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture.” Read Exodus 25:9 (TPT). Now, watch this, from verses 10 – 38, God spent time giving Moses the blueprint of how the Ark was supposed to be built. For example: “They shall make…” “You shall overlay…” “You shall cast…” “You shall make…” “and put the poles through the rings on the sides of the ark...” “The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be removed from it [so that the ark itself need not be touched]…” Read Exodus 25:10-15 (AMP). I see myself having this sort of conversation with my build team, don’t you? Here we clearly see a detailed description of what the requirements are, and thankfully, Moses followed on through to successfully complete that which was shown to him by God.
The Bible says, “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that.” Read Galatians 6:4 (MSG). Okay, how do I make a careful exploration? This happens by going back to the author and giver of life! Hence, the Bible says, “Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule overall. In Your hand is power and might; and it is in Your hands to make great and to give strength to everyone. Now, therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.” Read 1 Chronicles 29:12-13 (AMP). In other words, everything comes from God, the one to whom we must give account, hence, “For all things come from You, and of Your own, we have given You.”
Watch, our quest for the true life which only God can give is seen as a spiritual investment. “These spiritual investments will provide a beautiful foundation for their lives and secure for them a great future, as they lay their hands upon the meaning of true life. So, my son Timothy, don’t forget all that has been deposited within you.” Read 1 Timothy 6:19-20 (TPT). Please hear my heart on this matter, God has put inside you and me destinies of nations, families, governments and ministries, hence, “A man of deep understanding will give good advice, drawing it out from the well within.” Read Proverbs 20:5 (TPT). Beloved, destinies are within you and me, look no further but within.
I love the way Exodus 25 ends, “See that you make them [exactly] after their pattern which was shown to you on the mountain.” Read Exodus 25:40 (AMP). Watch this, the term “see and shown” refer to the same meaning in the Greek which means to discern, inspect and giving attention.
