“There are ministers who never speak of repentance or self-denial. Naturally, they are popular, but they are false prophets.” J. I. Packer. Listen to this, when doctors prescribe medication to patients, they ask you to take the complete dosage, and ignoring the dosage will impact the effect the medicine will have on one’s system. Consequently, the Scripture is a complete package and neither should anyone pick and choose what they like or don’t like in the Bible.
Watch this, the Lord gave Jeremiah this message for the people of Judah, “They have lied about the Lord and said, ‘He won’t bother us! No disasters will come upon us. There will be no war or famine. God’s prophets are all windbags who don’t really speak for Him. Let their predictions of disaster fall on themselves!'” Read Jeremiah 5:12-13 (NLT). Again, be warned, be careful who you listen to.
Listen to this, “For the shepherds [of the people] have become [like brutes,] irrational and stupid, and have not searched for the Lord or asked about Him or realized their need for Him; therefore they have not been wise and have not prospered, and all their flocks are scattered.” Read Jeremiah 10:21 (NLT) I will say, this holds true today and it will behove us to take heed and repent.
My Father in heaven, I repent before you and ask for a rekindling of my love for you and Your word. More than ever before, let Christ be the focus of my life in Christ Name.

Mon Père céleste, je me repenti devant vous et je demande un ravitaillement de mon amour pour toi et ta parole. Plus que jamais, que le Christ soit le centre de ma vie au Nom du Christ.

Hört darauf: “Denn die Hirten [des Volkes] sind [wie Bruten,] unvernünftig und dumm geworden, einendhaben nicht nach dem Herrn gesucht oder nach ihm gefragt oder ihre Notwendigkeit für Ihnerkannt; Darum sind sie nicht weise gewesen und haben nicht gedeihen, und alle ihre Herden sind zerstreut.” Lies Jeremia 10:21 (NLT) Ich werde sagen, das gilt heute, und es wird uns aufhalten, aufzupassen und umzukehren.
Mein Vater im Himmel, ich bereue vor euch und bitte um eine Wiederbelebung meiner Liebe zu euch und eurem Wort. Mehr denn je soll Christus im Mittelpunkt meines Lebens im Christusnamen stehen.
