Edom was completely destroyed and wiped off from the face of the earth because of the way they [Edom – Esau] treated [Israel – Jacob]. If you observe, some nations and people treat God’s people differently by being hostile to them. Listen to this, “And they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.” Read Revelation 20:13b (NASB). Beloved, the way we treat one another especially those in the house of faith will be judged by God [Pause and calmly think]. Beloved, we are all in need of God’s grace and mercy. God had mercy on Israel and “He restored” them and Israel will become a “refuge for those who escape; it will be a holy place.” Read Obadiah 1:17 (NIV). God was compassionate towards Israel and He restored and settled them backin their own land. They were no longer wonderers, but were now settlers because of GOD’s GRACE and MERCY. Read Isaiah 14:1-3 (NIV).
Scripture says, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Read Numbers 23:19. Therefore, whatever God has promised will be FULFILED.
My Father, thank You. The words that You speak, “they are spirit and life.” This day, I receive LIFE, and this LIFE I have received will be LIVED for Your Glory, Honour and Praise in Christ Name.
