“I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.” Read Haggai 2:7-9 (NASB). So what does this mean in the context of the Jews building the temple of God? The Jews who were willing to build the temple might have been worried about the resources required for the building of the temple, but, God assured them that the “desire – treasures” of all nations will be brought to the people to help in the rebuilding of the temple. Listen to this, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.” Read Psalm 24:1 (NASB). Therefore, God will make the provision available for the purpose of the building of His temple.
Watch this, “Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” Read 2 Peter 1:3 (NASB). Beloved, there is no lack in God’s plan. And we must get to the point where we flat out trust and believe God. The Bible says it this way, “And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, when I am so old?’ Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” Sarah denied it however, saying, “I did not laugh”; for she was afraid. And He said, “No, but you did laugh.” Read Genesis 18:14 (NASB). Recall king David told his son Solomon, “God will provide the materials for the building of the temple.”
‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.” Read Haggai 2:9 (NASB). King Solomon built a magnificent temple for the Lord, and 1 Kings 6 (NASB) gives details of how magnificent the temple was. And the Lord said “The latter glory of this house;” the one being built by the remnants will be greater than the former. So this would have been an encouragement to the people to not despise the current work because His presence was going to fill the place to a greater degree than the one king Solomon built.
My Father in heaven, I am extremely grateful to You for Your faithfulness, grace and mercy. Thank You for Your loving kindness. Thank You for the Blood of the lamb. I declare, “The Joy of the Lord is my strength.”

Les Juifs qui étaient prêts à construire le temple auraient pu s’inquiéter des ressources nécessaires à la construction du temple, mais Dieu leur a assuré que le «désir – trésors» de toutes les nations sera apporté au peuple pour aider à la reconstructiondu temple. Écoutez ceci, “La terre est celle du Seigneur, et tout ce qu’elle contient, le monde, et ceux qui y habitent.» Lire Psaume 24:1 (NASB). Par conséquent, Dieu rendra la disposition disponible aux fins de la construction de son temple.
Regardez ceci, «Voyant que sa puissance divine nous a accordé tout ce qui concerne la vie et la piété, par la vraie connaissance de Celui qui nous a appelés par sa propre gloire et excellence. » Lire 2 Peter 1:3 (NASB). Bien-aimé, il n’y a pas de manque dans le plan de Dieu. Et nous devons arriver au point où nous avons carrément confiance et croyons Dieu. La Bible le dit ainsi, «Et le Seigneur dit à Abraham, Pourquoi Sarah a-t-elle ri, en disant, «Dois-je en effet porter un enfant, quand je serai si vieux?» Est-ce que quelque chose est trop difficile pour le Seigneur? Au moment désigné, je reviendrai à vous, à cette époque l’année prochaine, et Sarah aura un fils. Sarah a toutefois nié, It disant: «Je n’ai pas ri»; car elle avait peur. Et il a dit, «Non, mais tu as ri.» Lire Genèse 18:14 (NASB). Rappelez-vous quele roi David a dit à son fils Salomon: «Dieu fournira les matériaux pour la construction du temple.»

Le roi Salomon a construit untemple magnifique pourle Seigneur, et 1 Rois 6 (NASB) donne des détails sur la façon dont magnifique le temple était. Et le Seigneur a dit: « La dernière gloire de cette maison;» celui qui fut construit par les restes sera plus grand que le premier. Donc, cela aurait été un encouragement pour le peuple de ne pas mépriser l’œuvre actuelle parce que sa présence allait remplir l’endroit à un degré plus grand que celui que le roi Salomon a construit.
