The Lord God Almighty said through Haggai to the people “My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised when you came out of Egypt. So do not be afraid.” Read Haggai 2:5 (NIV). Beloved, can I say this to you, ‘the work God has given you to do is worth something, therefore, never ever look at God’s work in your hands as inferior. Watch this, the reason for you and me to be courageous is because “God is with us.” Watch this, when you read the text where Haggai encourages the people to be “strong,” one might assume the people were encouraged because of Haggai’s oratory excellence or ability to convince the people; a million times no. Apostle Paul writes, “And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.” Read 1 Corinthians 2:13. The ‘Spirit of God moved upon the people‘ and that is why they were able to obey Him; this is what exceedingly abundant grace and extravagant mercy looks like [pause and calmly think].
“For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.” Read Haggai 2:6-9 (NASB). Watch this, the immediate question that will arise from this text, is why will the Lord shake the heavens and the earth again?
Well, if you look at Biblical history, there was a major event when God descended upon “Mount Sinai.” See what the Bible says, “Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the LORD descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently.” Exodus 19:18 (NASB). Recall, Mount Sinai was the place Moses brought the children of Israel out of the camp to meet with God. Beloved, the Book of Hebrews also referenced the prophecy Haggai gave, listen to this, “And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” Read Hebrews 12:26-29 (NASB).
In other words, there is a coming shaking which will usher in “His Kingdom and rule” on this earth. Hence, the Bible says, ‘For it is written, “AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD.” Read Romans 14:11 (NASB). Here is another question for you, what are you anchored to? [insert your honest response, and ask God to help you].
My Father in heaven, as Your word examines and reveals the holes in our foundation, I ask You to help us act swiftly to correct any flaws in our foundation in Christ Name.

C’est parce que «l’Esprit de Dieu s’est tourné vers le peuple». En d’autres termes, elle est fondée sur la grâce et la miséricorde de Dieu [Pause et penser calmement]. Lire Haggai 2:6-9 (NASB). Regardez cela, la question immédiate qui découlera de ce texte, est pourquoi le Seigneur secouera-t-il à nouveau les cieux et la terre ?
Eh bien, si vous regardez l’histoire biblique, il y a eu un événement majeur quand Dieu est descendu sur «Mont Sinaï.» Voyez ce que dit la Bible: «Maintenant, le mont Sinaï était en fumée parce que l’Éternel est descendu sur lui dans le feu;et sa fumée monta comme la fumée d’un four, et toute la montagne a tremblé violemment. Exode 19:18 (NASB). Rappelez-vous, le mont Sinaï était l’endroit où Moïse a amené les enfants d’Israël hors du camp pour rencontrer Dieu. Bien-aimé, le Livre des Hébreux a également fait référence à la prophétie Haggai a donné, écouter cela, «Et sa voix a secoué la terre alors, mais maintenant Il a promis, en disant: «Encore une fois je vais secouer non seulement la terre, mais aussi le ciel. Cette expression, «encore une fois», dénote la suppression de ces choses qui peuvent être ébranlées, à partir des choses créées, as of created things de sorte que ces choses qui ne peuvent pas être secouées peuvent rester. Parconséquent, puisque nous recevons un royaume qui ne peut être ébranlé, montrons notre gratitude, par lequel nous pouvons offrir à Dieu un service acceptable avec révérence et admiration;car notre Dieu est un feu qui consomme. En d’autres termes, il ya une secousse à venir qui inaugurera dans «Son Royaume et la règle» sur cette terre. Par conséquent, la Bible dit: «ar elle est écrite, « OMME JE VIS, DIT LE SEIGNEUR, CHAQUE GENOU S’inclinera devant moi, ET CHAQUE LANGUE FERA LA LOUANGE À DIEU.» Lire Romains 14:11 (NASB).
