“He who offers a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving honours Me; and to him who orders his way rightly [who follows the way that I show him], I shall show the salvation of God.”
Psalm 50:23 (AMP).
Beloved, whenever we express gratitude and thanksgiving to God; it means we are HONOURING Him. Hence, I now understand when the Bible says, “He inhabits [make a home or to tabernacle] the praises of His people.” Read Psalm 22:3. Listen here beloved, the opposite can be said if we do not offer a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving to God, it would mean we are DIS-HONOURING Him. Watch this, if there is no praise or worship coming from us, then, there is nothing for God to inhabit [pause and calmly think].
“The people whom I formed for Myself that they might declare My praise.” Read Isaiah 43:21 (ESV). God expects us to praise Him, and if we stay quiet, the Bible says, “The very stones would cry out.” Read Luke 19:40 (ESV). What I glean from this text is, the whole of creation will worship God. The Bible helps us understand, “Because of that obedience, God lifted Him high and honoured Him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that He is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.” Read Philippians 2:9-11 (MSG). Can you see this? The whole of creation will have no other choice but to bow and worship the one true God.
Listen to this, the Heidelberg Catechism says, “Knowledge of God’s sovereign providence enables us to be thankful when things go well for us.” This is true, however, Romans 8:28 gives us this perspective that, we should be thankful even when things go sideways, not because of the discomfort one will experience, but because we know the Lord is working in it for His glory and our good. I know this might be hard to accept or comprehend, but beloved, God’s Word is from everlasting to everlasting, and we know through the Scripture, that, “There failed nothing of all the good things that Jehovah had spoken to the house of Israel: all came to pass.” Read Joshua 21:45.

Reconnaissants – Partie 7
Celui qui offre un sacrifice de louange et d’action de grâces m’honore; et à celui qui ordonne à juste titre [qui suit la voie que je lui montre], je montrerai le salut de Dieu.

Bien-aimé, chaque fois que nous exprimons la gratitude et l’action de grâce à Dieu; cela signifie que nous l’HONOR. Par conséquent, je comprends maintenant quand la Bible dit: “Il habite [faire une maison ou au tabernacle] les louanges de son peuple.” Lire Psaume 22:3. Écoutez ici bien-aimé, le contraire peut être dit si nous n’offrons pas un sacrifice de louange et d’action de grâce à Dieu, cela signifierait que nous le dis-honorons. Regardez cela, s’il n’y a pas de louange ou d’adoration venant de nous, alors, il n’y a rien pour Dieu d’habiter [pause et penser calmement].
“Les gens que j’ai formés pour moi pour qu’ils puissent déclarer Ma louange.” Lire Ésaïe 43:21 (ESV). Dieu s’attend à ce que nous le louions, et si nous restons silencieux, la Bible dit: “Les pierres même crieraient.” Lire Luc 19:40 (ESV). Ce que je glane dans ce texte, c’est que toute la création adorera Dieu. La Bible nous aide à comprendre: “À cause de cette obéissance, Dieu l’a soulevé haut et honourouge Lui bien au-delà de qui conque ou quoi que ce soit, jamais, de sorte que tous les êtres créés dans le ciel et sur la terre – même ceux qui sont morts et enterrés depuis longtemps-s’inclineront dans l’adoration devant ce Jésus-Christ, et appellent dans la louange qu’Il est le Maître de tous, t l’honore glorieux de Dieu le Père.” Lire Philippiens 2:9-11 (MSG). Tu vois ça? Toute la création n’aura d’autre choix que de s’incliner et d’adorer le seul vrai Dieu.
Écoutez cela, le Catéchisme de Heidelberg dit: “La connaissance de la providence souveraine de Dieu nous permet d’être reconnaissants quand les choses vont bien pour nous.” Cela est vrai, cependant, Romains 8:28 nous donne cette perspective que, nous devrions être reconnaissants, même lorsque les choses vont de côté, non pas à cause de l’inconfort que l’on éprouvera, mais parce que nous savons que le Seigneur travaille en elle pour Sa gloire et notre bien. Je sais que cela peut être difficile à accepter ou à comprendre, mais bien-aimé, la Parole de Dieu est de l’éternel à éternel, et nous savons à travers l’Écriture, que, “Il n’y a rien échoué de toutes les bonnes choses que Jéhovah avait parlé à la maison d’Israël: tout est venu à passer.” Lire Josué 21:45.
