We live in a world where people feel this sense of entitlement, and because of that, the spirit of thankfulness erodes them. And as I critically think of the reason why we are not grateful enough; I can only attribute it to pride. Someone who is prideful will find it hard to appreciate anything. Jesus said, “For without Me you can do nothing” John 15:5b (NKJV). “O come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord; let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with songs.” Read Psalm 95:1-2 (AMP).
Watch this beloved, being thankful to God in spite of, is a testimony to those around you that you are declaring His goodness and mercy. See what the Bible says, “Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.” Read Psalm 105:1. Can you see this? It takes spiritual guts to stand flat footed praising and worshiping God.
Over the years, we have been taught in our churches that accepting Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour means that all your troubles will disappear. Hey, that is not true! Jesus said, “I have told you this, so that you might have peace in your hearts because of Me. While you are in the world, you will have to suffer. But cheer up! I have defeated the world.” Read John 16:33 (CEV). The word “cheer” in the Greek refers to having courage and boldness, to be emboldened from within, or have confidence; not in self, but in Christ who says, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Read Joshua 1:9 (KJV).
My Father, I am extremely thankful, eternally grateful and forever praiseful.

Reconnaissants – Partie 8
Si j’avais eu ma vie à vivre, j’aurais passé plus d’heures à adorer.

Nous vivons dans un monde où les gens ressentent ce sentiment de droit, et à cause de cela, l’esprit de reconnaissance les érode. Et comme je pense de façon critique à la raison pour laquelle nous ne sommes pas assez reconnaissants; Je ne peux que l’attribuer à la fierté. Quelqu’un qui est fier aura du mal à apprécier quoi que ce soit. Jésus a dit: “Car sans Moi, tu ne pouvez rien faire” Jean 15:5b (NKJV).” O venez, chantons joyeusement au Seigneur; crions joyeusement sur le rocher de notre salut. Venons devant Sa présence avec un chant d’action de grâces; crions joyeusement à Lui avec des chansons. Lire Psaume 95:1-2 (AMP).
Regarder ce bien-aimé, être reconnaissant à Dieu en dépit de, est un témoignage à ceux qui vous en sont autour que vous déclarez Sa bonté et sa miséricorde. Voyez ce que dit la Bible: “Remerciez l’Éternel et proclamez Sa grandeur. Faites savoir au monde entier ce qu’il a fait.” Lire Psaume 105:1. Tu vois ça ? Il faut des tripes spirituelles pour se tenir à plat pied louant et adorant Dieu.
Au fil des ans, on nous a enseigné dans nos Églises que l’acceptation du Christ comme Seigneur et Sauveur personnel signifie que tous vos ennuis disparaîtront. Hé, ce n’est pas vrai! Jésus a dit: “Je vous ai dit cela, afin que vous pourriez avoir la paix dans vos cœurs à cause de Moi. Pendant que vous êtes dans le monde, vous devrez souffrir. Mais remonter le moral! J’ai vaincu le monde.” Lire Jean 16:33 (CEV). Le mot “acclamation” en grec se réfère à avoir du courage et de l’audace, d’être enhardi de l’intérieur, ou avoir confiance; pas en soi, mais en Christ qui dit: “Ne t’ai-je pas commandé?Soyez fort et d’un bon courage; n’ayez pas peur, ne soyez pas consternés: car le Seigneur ton Dieu est avec toi whithersoever tu goest.” Lire Josué 1:9 (KJV).
Mon Père, je suis extrêmement reconnaissant, éternellement reconnaissant et éternellement louable.
