Sometimes as Christians, slackness or complacency can set into our walk and relationship with Christ. Merriam-Webster defines “complacency” as “self-satisfaction especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies.” The Lord gave a message to Zephaniah, and what I find quite striking and of major concern are the following choice of words the Lord used from Zephaniah 1:1-4 (NIV).
