The book of Joel is as relevant in our time as it was when Joel gave the prophecy to the people of Israel [Judah]. And it will behove you and me to heed those same warnings. Listen to this, as the people of God, we cannot continue to live our lives according to the flesh. The Bible asks, Do we persist in sin so that God’s kindness and grace will increase? What a terrible thought! We have died to sin once and for all, as a dead man passes away from this life. So how could we live under sin’s rule a moment longer?
