Listen to this, “Repentance is the true turning of our life to God, a turning that arises from a pure and earnest fear of Him; and it consists in the mortification of the flesh and the renewing of the Spirit.” John Calvin.

What I like about Joel’s prophetic word of warning from God, is that “The day of the Lord” will surely come. “The day of the Lord” is a time of judgement and mercy for the people and nations. The question then arises, on what side of the coin will you fall under? What should our response be for a call to repentance?
