What is your reality?

Reality according to Merriam-Webster  “the true situation that exists: the real situation.”

Your reality comes from the very foundation upon which you were created. John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word…” (Pause and calmly think).

In our sphere today, many experience challenging times, situations and circumstances. And sometimes, people question whether there is a God or not, they lose perspective of who they are in the midst of trials, they employ humanistic and intellectual thinking; which at best is limited and constrained to information from the natural realm.

Your reality is the Word of God and what God has said about you in the midst of the trial. We are guaranteed trials as long as we live on this earth, but here is something Jesus said which is re-assuring “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” Read John 16:33. Straight away, you can see that we already have the victory, the battle has already been won, you are not trying to win, no; the battle has been won by our Lord nd Saviour Jesus Christ, this is my reality.

Always remember this “we are products of His grace, and not our circumstances.”

My reality is:

  • By His stripes you were healed – 1 Peter 2:4
  • I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus – 2 Corinthians 5:21
  • The joy of the Lord is my strength – Nehemiah 8:10
  • My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:19
  • God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us

My reality is “But the Lord stood at my side and strengthened me.” 2 Timothy 4:17. Receive strength today, receive insight into what reality really means. God is my reality.
