When movie directors want to produce a blockbuster film, they develop a script from which the actors or actresses take their queue. In a similar way, God has scripted our lives through His Word. There is a script deliberately created with your name on it, act your part and don’t go off script.
You observe, when the actors or actresses go off script, you hear the scriptwriter/owner say these words “Cut.” which means stop and repeat the specific scene till it is perfected.
Well in our walk with God, we might be hearing these words “Cut” too often, but the reassuring thing is that God has made allowances for us to re-take the scenes till we become proficient and experts without any condemnation.
So my encouragement to you reading this Kolumn is do not allow yourself develop a script that was never designed by God for you in the first instance. Gods script is tailor-made and fitted for you, and that script puts you on a path leading you to your place of destiny, fulfilment and purpose.
Galatians 6: 4-5 MSG “Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.”
Find your script and act your script.
