It is well with my soul: He is Risen – Part 3

His death burial and resurrection was for our benefit. Therefore we have boldness and confidence with assurance that we can declare “It is well with my soul: He is Risen.” What an awesome and glorious life to be all that God has called me to be. He paid a price so costly; God was not in any doubt that He was going to redeem humanity through the saving grace of His dear Son, Jesus Christ. Let me pause for a moment to acknowledge the manner of love with which we are loved by God, Oh I want to shout Hallelujah, Glory to my Father in Heaven.

As a result of the work on the cross, guess what reader, looking beyond the cross and the grave, we have been freed from condemnation, we have been freed from the punishment of sin, hence the sin nature no longer lives in us; we now have a new DNA (divine nature attitude). We have been acquitted of all wrongs, and like Paul said “I have wronged no man.” And because of this liberty we have in Jesus Christ, we can boldly and un-apologetically say “It is well with my soul.”

When He (God the Father) looks at you, He sees in you His righteousness, He sees in you His mercy, He sees in you His grace and loving kindness, He sees in you favor, but above all, He sees in you His image and His likeness. Hear me on this matter and meditate when I say “we are of the same class as Jesus,” we are of the same breed, from the same fold. I do not want to take you for granted, after-all scripture says “we are created in His image and after His likeness, read Genesis 1:26.

We have nothing but praise and thanksgiving to God for we are fearfully and wonderfully made, there is no imperfection in us because we are products of the spoken word, we are a prophetic people, we are a product of His grace, hallelujah. Everything God created was good, therefore “I am good because His nature propels me, and His nature compels me.”

In this wise, we boldly declare “the glory of the Lord is risen upon us” in the Name of Jesus. Because of the risen Lord, you are moving higher and higher and being formed into the image of His dear Son in character, and in speech, and in grace and in mercy.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for what was dead is now risen. I am risen into a new life, a life of oneness with you, a life of purpose, and a life of fulfilment in Christ. “Christ in me, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27.

Happy Easter to our wonderful readers.
