We are still talking about what Jabez said, and I sure hope you have been confessing (saying the same things as God has said about you – Homologeo)! I recall a friend saying, “at the first sight of a provocation from any quarter, what should be the first thing to think about? And his response was, the ‘desired outcome.’ When Jesus spoke, he spoke His desired outcome. The story of Jesus speaking to the fig tree comes to mind. Read Mark 11:12-25 (NIV). Think with me for a minute, Jesus spoke to the fig tree, and notice, He never went back to check on the outcome of the tree. Selah. In other words, He was absolutely confident in the love of God for Him, such that He needed not be worried whether what He spoke would come to pass or not. In like manner beloved, be absolutely confident in the love of God for you, then begin saying, “And this promise is from God himself, who makes the dead live again and speaks of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past.” Read Romans 4:17 (TLB).
So here is my counsel; speak the desired result with much certainty; and as you have been confessing and declaring over your life, don’t go back and check to see if your words worked or not. Oh no, a million times no, don’t do that. Your faith filled words are as powerful as Jesus’s words, and God loves you so dearly, your words will attract the desired end result. Seriously? But how can you say this Ricky, equating my words to Jesus’s words.? Remember, the Bible says, “For God treats everyone the same.” Read Romans 2:11 (TLB). Listen to this beautiful verse, that would make the hair on the back of your neck stand, “It’s Gods own truth, nothing could be plainer: God plays no favorites! It makes no difference who you are or where you’re from—if you want God and are ready to do as He says, the door is open.” Read Acts 10:34-36 (MSG). Therefore, let us progress unto declaring God’s word. The scripture makes it clear, we are to give the word of God a voice, and it comes through speaking; then the Angels will hearken unto the voice of our faith filled words.
JOY: The Bible says, “ it is a time to celebrate with a hearty meal and to send presents to those in need, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. You must not be dejected and sad!” Read Nehemiah 8:10 (TLB). Therefore, I declare, I drink from the well of joy in the Name of Jesus. Amen. I thank my God for His joy is overflowing in my heart, my home and my family in the Name of Jesus. Amen. I thank God, “I serve the Lord with joy and gladness of heart in the Name of Jesus. Amen. And because I do so, no sickness nor depression, nor anxiety can attach itself to me in the Name of Jesus. Amen. I know this might be radical to some of you; but “this is how we do it.” The Bible says, we have to use our “mouths to declare God’s praises and goodness all day long.” Read Psalm 71:8 (ESV). Watch this, as I am declaring these over my life, I sense joy stirring up in me; this is awesome. And God desires for you also to have such an experience of His “joy inexpressible and full of glory.” Joy is expressive and infectious; it is not quiet. Psalm 63:5 (WYC), says, “My soul be [ful]filled as with inner fatness and uttermore fatness; and my mouth shall praise with lips of full out joying (and my mouth shall praise thee with lips of rejoicing).” The Bible tells us, “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing…” Read Proverbs 17:22 (AMP). Therefore, I declare and thank my God for giving me a sound mind, a heart that is focused, and presses towards the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Watch this dearly beloved, only Jesus can satisfy your soul, hence the Bible says it this ways, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him, will never thirst.” Read John 4:14 (NKJV). Confession is not from a place of mental accent, instead, it should be from a place of trusting in the love of God. Therefore, I boldly say, “God loves me.” And He loves me with an everlasting love. He loves me with all of His heart, soul and mind and strength in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Oh my God, are you seeing this? He loves me as much as He loves Jesus.” Watch what Jesus himself says, “…and that You love them (who is He referring to? You and I), as much as You love me.” Read John 17:23 (NIV). Now I believe this with my heart, and I speak it with my mouth. Hallelujah, Glory to God.
Let me deposit this with you from the book of Deuteronomy 28:2 (KJV) saying, “And all these blessings (enablement and empowerment), shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” The word hearken means to HEAR AND DO. Selah. You have heard so much from God’s word, now go in the power of His might and do according to what you have heard the Lord say to you either through your personal study or what you have understood from these writings.
I thank my God for He has enriched me mentally, spiritually, and He has restored wholeness and soundness of mind and body in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
