I believe one of the quickest ways to fill your life is through praying in the Holy Ghost. The Bible says, “But you dear friends, must continue to build your most holy faith for your own benefit. Furthermore, continue to pray in the Holy Spirit.” Read Jude 1:20 (ISV). Listen to this verse, “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…” Read Ecclesiastes 11:3 (KJV).
Watch this, determining the content of your life is well within your grasp. And your Heavenly Father has made all grace and earthly blessings available to you, and prayer is an access code – “Access granted.” Access to what though? To all of Heaven’s resources when you need one. The Bible says, “From whence cometh my help, all of my help cometh from the Lord.” Someone said, “Help is 18 inches from your knee to the floor.” Charles Stanley.
Studying and listening to God’s word has been and continues to be a very important component which has helped me improve my prayer life. The scriptures counsel us to “Put God in remembrance of His word.” Once I truly got a hold of this, my prayer life became more enjoyable, and it was no longer laborious. Listen to this, as you pray God’s word, the more your life will be filled with righteous thoughts which leads to right thinking, and ultimately right actions.
“Prayer is the very way God Himself has chosen for us to express our conscious need of Him and our humble dependence on Him.” John Stott.
“Prayer is not a convenient device for imposing our will upon God, or bending his will to ours, but the prescribed way of subordinating our will to his. John Stott.
