Watch this, whilst you are waiting, it is a time for you to saturate your mind and allow the Word of God overflow in your heart. The Bible says, “But those who WAIT for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]; Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired..” Isaiah 40:31 (AMP).
Watch this, waiting will reveal the condition of your heart, Selah. Now, someone might be asking or might want to know how to WAIT for God. I am glad you asked because it is critically important for us to be able to respond and know what the Bible says how we are to WAIT.
- You must PRAYERFULLY WAIT
- “Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” Read Psalm 25:4-5 )KJV). Whilst waiting, I want to encourage you to pour out your heart to God; I mean to pour out your heart, talk to God about anything and everything, nothing is off limits.
- You must PATIENTLY WAIT
- “Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act.” Read Psalm 37:7 (NLT). Beloved, God won’t and can’t be rushed into doing anything, bear this in mind. Listen to this, “But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.” Read 2 Peter 3:8 (NLT). God’s concept of time is different from outs, and since He is the creator of time, He surely knows what time it is.
- You must be PRAISEFUL
- “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Read Psalm 34:1 (AMP). Listen to this, “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods.” Read Psalm 95:2-3 (KJV).
My Father, thank You for the grace and ability to WAIT for you, and not to go ahead of Your plan purpose and pursuits for me in Jesus Name.
