“What the Church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use — men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods but through men. He does not come on machinery but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men, men of prayer.”- E. M. Bounds. The anointing of God flows through the vessels He prepared – the Church and the Holy Ghost infuses power to effect the necessary change required.
The Church of the living of God is totally adherent to the tenets of Scriptures. The Bible says this about the Churches philosophy in this 21st Century, “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.” Read Colossians 2:7-8. The Bible calls the philosophies of this world as elementary, yet we seem to esteem intellectualism above spirituality.
The Church is the sure voice of the Lord an “ever present help in times of trouble.” Read Psalm 46:1 (NASB). The Church of the living God is the “house of prayer.” Read Matthew 21:13 (NASB). Watch this, ladies and gentlemen, the Church belongs to God, and His honour is at stake, hence, He will do whatever He needs to do to bring correction.
“…For the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.” 1 Chronicles 29:1 (KJV). Can you see this? The Church belongs to God, this is important for you and me to understand “So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—His Church, purchased with His own blood —over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.” Read Acts 20:28 (NLT). Can you see this folks? The Pastors or leadership doe not own the Church, instead, we are all workers for God in His vineyard.
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your Body, the Church. Thank You, I can fellowship with like-minded faith-filled believers who love and adore Your work of grace and mercy. Thank You Lord Jesus.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Praise the Lord, this is so encouraging, inspiring and a call to action.
