“And He has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers. And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally, we become one perfect man with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.” Read Ephesians 4:11-13 (TPT).
The Church is a place where nurturing occurs, and believers in Christ are equipped [totally outfitted] fit for the Master’s use, hence the Bible says this, “But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honourable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that He gives you to do.” Read 2 Timothy 2:21 (TPT).
The Church is meant to be a well equipped and well-oiled institute, however, one can’t help but look in amazement on the condition and heart of some Churches. Beloved, I am not too concerned about the outcome because I know how it will all end, because this is what the Bible says, “Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honour to God, His Father!” Read Philippians 2:10-11 (TPT).
“The Church can’t afford its leaders to be canal because it will deprive the people of spiritual power.” R. W. Shambach. And God has chosen to bless the nations through His body the Church.
Watch this beloved, the Church is called to do this, “And your people will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up and restore the age-old foundations [of buildings that have been laid waste]; You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.” Read Isaiah 58:12 (AMP). Brothers and sisters, the Pastors in their local assemblies are the guardians of the soul of humanity in their communities, and that is why the Church holds a very crucial role in preaching the gospel of Christ.
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You for raising men and women of God who will stand and declare thus saith the Lord no matter the cost, because, our voices and the ultimate goal is to say what You have commanded us to say.
THE TRUTH MUST BE PREACHED FROM THE PULPIT AGAIN!
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Praise Jesus for this inspiring truth. Thank You Lord, for the Church is rising in power.

Not sure how I found this post just now, but I suspect God had something to do with it. Just this morning I wrote a response to Brothers question on our facebook page in which he asked “Is a church a church when it rarely reaches out?” My response was that without an active outreach ministry, a church is little more than a social gathering.

Thanks, MCF. Scripture records, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15 (ESV). Yes, I agree, we are the church who will, in our day to day interactions with people in our sphere will have the opportunity to be the light in an increasing dark filled world.
