20/20 Resolution – Part 16

2020 ResolutionOne Scripture stands out and says, “God is not man, one given to liesand not a son of man changing His mindDoes He speak and not do what He saysDoes He promise and not come through?” Read Numbers 23:19 (AMPC).  In other words, God is faithful to every word He speaks. Scripture says, “Praise the Lord who has given rest to His people Israel, just as He promised. Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises He gave through his servant Moses.” Read 1 Kings 8:56 (NLT). Listen to this, ‘Our greatest need is being faithful to God and His Word‘.

Watch this, as the people of God, these traits are critical if we are to advance in the things of God. Listen to this, “So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.” Read 1 Corinthians 15:58 (TPT).

The palm tree is a formidable and resilient perennial plant, known to be able to withstand any storm in its path. The Bible says, “Yes! Look how you’ve made all your lovers to flourish like palm treeseach one growing in victory, standing with strength!” Read Psalm 92:12 (TPT).

The Bible says, “The most important quality of one entrusted with such secrets is that they are faithful and trustworthy.” Read 1 Corinthians 4:2 (TPT). The word faithful in the Greek means to be “dependable, reliable and loyal.” In a society such as ours, I suppose these words mean absolutely nothing. For you and me as believers in Christ, consider this, are our words dependable, reliable and loyal? Watch this, God is faithful, committed and He will never “waver nor deny Himself.” Read 2 Timothy 2:13 (TPT).

For you and me to advance this 20/20 and beyond will require the following:

  • Dependability;
  • Reliability;
  • Loyalty.

My Father in heaven, thank You. Your Faithfulness endures forever. Thank You for upholding me with Your righteous right hand.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
