What do indices tell you? Part 4

Index graph of stock market financial indicator analysis on LED.In our society today, people give more credit to their intellectual ability more than they give to the one whom it came from, God – the one who empowered them to be able to use their intellect. Growing up I heard words like “I am a self-made man,” and I am sure you might have heard such a statement at some point; come to think about it, can be one of the most dangerous statements anyone can make. And people make these sort of statements and other similar ones because they are under the illusion that the intelligence came from them. Well, let me enlighten you from the Word which says, “Everything came into existence through Him. Not one thing that exists was made without Him.” Read John 1:3 (GNT). So before you get all caught up with how smart you are, “Pause and calmly think.”

  • People relied more on human wisdom rather than wisdom from God.
    • “For what seems to be God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and what seems to be God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.” Read 1 Corinthians 1:25 (GNT). Since the underlined is the case, then it makes absolute sense to embrace God’s wisdom at all times. And one of the ways we embrace His wisdom is to seek His face first. The Bible says it this way, “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” Read Matthew 6:33 (AMP).
    • Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on trackDon’t assume that you know it allRun to God! Run from evil!” Read Proverbs 3:5-12 (MSG). Without God’s voice, you won’t be on track, it is that simple. And it is not because I am highlighting it, I am re-echoing God’s Word, and His Word is to be believed and acted upon.

Listen to this, “We need the gift of discernment again in our pulpits. It is not the ability to predict what we need, but the anointed eye, the power of spiritual penetration and interpretation, the ability to appraise the religious scene as viewed from God’s position, and to tell what is actually going on.” A. W. Tozer. In other words, wisdom = discernment. And let me admonish you, learn to depend on God’s grace and not your own human wisdom!

Oh, lest I forget, wisdom is available to everyone who will ask the Lord. He gives it freely.  Wisdom quite simply is aligning your perspective with God’s Word. God’s Word is His perspective, and once you can grasp this truth with the help of the Holy Spirit, then there is no boundary that will stop your success. Beloved, I believe this, because God said it, and I can’t and won’t question it.

Lord Jesus, thank You, for Your wisdom is working in my life. Thank You, for I daily receive wisdom and insight from You. Thank You I walk in the reality of heavenly wisdom. Thank You, Lord Jesus.

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
