Every script has a platform to showcase its performing ability, and the world is your stage, starting first with your home which is the biggest platform to shine. I admire books written by A. W. Tozer and his quote read thus, “God must do everything for us. Our part is to yield and trust” Curled from his book ‘The Pursuit of God: The Human Thirst for the Divine.’ Trust is so critical in our relationship with God, and I am reminded of the hymn, “Trust and obey for there is no other way. To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”
- A Scripted Life Trust God
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Read Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT). Trust is a critical factor in our relationship with the Lord, and I believe the Lord set the foundation by His statement, “I will not violate My covenant or alter what My lips have uttered.” Read Psalm 89:34 (NIV). Listen to this, “God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change his mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?” Read Numbers 23:19 (NLT). God’s word is unfailing and can be taken to the bank, deposited and withdrawn at any time without bouncing on you. God is awesome and has given you an insurance policy, and His policy is He will never ever fail or quit on you. Glory to God, Hallelujah.
- The character of God never changes, and the basis of our faith is that He has spoken and He won’t change His mind. Read Psalm 89:34 (KJV). This may be an inconvenient truth, but it is a truth nonetheless. Beloved, God is faithful, and He alone is worthy to be praised and adored. “Christ in you, the hope of Glory.” This is our trust and the basis of our faith because we truly understand the nature and character of God.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your unfailing love. For You said in Your word, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness, I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you. It is well with my soul, and when God makes you a promise, He would keep it.
We write. You read. Be encouraged.
Praise the Lord for this reminder. Lord, I thank you for the strength to trust You.Thank You for Your faithfulness towards me and my household in Jesus Name.
