Are you a minority? – Part 1

Like myself, I am sure you might have heard a certain group of people being referred to as a minority. For a very long time, I heard this term and kept quiet and even referred to myself as being from the minority, but not any more based on what I now know and what the Holy Spirit has revealed. The word minority refers to a “social subgroup or ethnicity.” The Lord opened my eyes and told me through His Word, that son, you are not a minority or an inferior species of being, He said to me, “I am the apple of His eyes.” Hey, we are of God’s class, Selah. This statement was declared over you and me by the almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of Lords. 

Listen to what the Bible says, The angel appeared and spoke to Gideon, “The Lord is helping you, and you are a strong warrior.” Read Judges 6:12 (CEV). Therefore, I am here to remind you, “YOU ARE A STRONG WARRIOR.” When one is referred to as “minority” it connotes a level of second-class citizenry or inferiority needing help from westernised or developed societies or big brother, and I think we have allowed ourselves cling to this notion that we will always need help from developed nations, cap in hand going around begging for handouts. Watch this beloved, this is not God’s plan and purpose for you, and that is the reason this scripture holds true, “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” Read 2 Peter 1:3 (KJV).

We are not second-class, neither are we beggars, we are “heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ” and “one together with Him.” We were bought with a priceless price. You are so valuable to God, and you better believe Him. Beloved, when are we going to start taking God at His Word? No amount of money can be attached to the gift of Christ sent to redeem our souls from eternal damnation. “He sent His only begotten Son” to die for you and me on the cross of Calvary.

So here is my question to you, who are you? Do you know who you are? Before you respond, recall the Bible says this about you, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP). Watch this, the moment you receive the Lord into your life, then your origin automatically changes; the text above tells us so.
