Just read your Bible: Success – Part 10

Just read your BibleSuccess for you and me as the people of God is not defined by the standards of the world. The Bible defines success as “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.” Read Joshua 1:8 (AMP). Watch this, having God’s Word in your life is the first step to being successful; without it, success is not success at all.

To further support the text above, see what the Bible says, “The Lord was with Joseph, and he [even though a slave] became a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.” Read Genesis 39:2 (AMP). This is an amazing and glorious text because here we clearly see Joseph’s success was attributed to the fact that the LORD was with him.

Are we serious about studying our Bibles? Can you imagine how our services will look like when everyone is soaked in God’s Word? If I have to imagine, it will be a glorious and charged atmosphere, where anything can happen – why? Because we will all be bubbling over with excitement and joy to hear God’s Word, hence the Bible says, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” Read Psalm 16:11 (AMP).

My Father in Heaven, thank You. I am eternally grateful. I am in awe of You Sir…

We write. You read. Be encouraged.
